A Pitch Practice Session to Turn Three Minutes into New Opportunities
15/06/2026
15Fundació Farinera Girona recently hosted another Pitch Practice session, bringing together entrepreneurs to strengthen one of the most important skills for any startup founder: communicating the value of a business clearly, confidently, and concisely.
The challenge was simple, but demanding. Each participant had just three minutes and two or three slides to explain their project. With so little time, founders had to focus on what really matters: what they do, why it matters, and why someone should believe in their vision.
During the session, we heard pitches from Davant, After Life Vets, Aimdal, Spot, Clothy.app, ThinkEat Food, and Souldi, showcasing the diversity and innovation emerging from Girona’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The presentations were only the beginning. After each pitch, participants received honest and constructive feedback from fellow entrepreneurs, and mentors like Diana Ballart Cerdán, Robert Mas, Daniel Ruiz-Giménez, and Martí Juanola. Their questions, observations, and outside perspectives helped founders identify blind spots, strengthen their messaging, and uncover new opportunities for improvement.
This exchange of ideas is what makes these sessions especially valuable. Very often, one thoughtful question or an external perspective can accelerate progress far more than hours spent working alone.
The event concluded with a practical session led by Diana Ballart, who shared the essential ingredients of a pitch that connects with an audience, inspires confidence, and leaves a lasting impression. Participants then continued networking over drinks and snacks provided by Frit Ravich, whose support helps make these collaborative spaces possible.
