Entrepreneurship Programme

Support and Mentoring

Supporting talent, transforming the local region

The Farinera Girona Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme is designed to support entrepreneurs to help them get their projects off the ground until they become viable, sustainable businesses capable of having a positive impact on the local region.

01.

Practical and validated methodology

We follow the Lean Startup and Customer Development methodologies, focusing on validated learning and action. The Programme starts off with a project landing phase, during which the initial hypotheses are questioned and rebuilt with a view to constructing a solid and future-oriented business model.

From the outset, each project receives personalised, intensive and individualised support, with a large number of sessions.

During the process, all key phases are monitored:

  • Validation of the business opportunity
  • Problem–solution fit
  • Product-market fit
  • Business model testing
  • Market launch
  • Early stages of traction and growth
02.

Mentors and Gi20

The team of mentors is made up of mentors responsible for carrying out the intensive support, as well as expert mentors from different sectors, who are incorporated according to the needs of each project. Furthermore, we help to seek private funding through the Gi20 micro-investment fund. This fund is made up of 20 successful entrepreneurs who also participate as expert mentors within the Programme.

03.

Open access and free of charge

Registration for the Programme is open on a continuous basis between October and June. The Programme is completely free of charge; in the future, only a voluntary contribution is requested from those who have received support from the Programme, with the aim of making it sustainable.

04.

Who is it aimed at?

We are looking for entrepreneurs with emerging and innovative projects, committed to creating value for society and making a real lasting impact.
In the 2024–2025 edition, the programme supported more than 30 projects.
