An Entrepreneurship Day at Col·legi Bell-lloc to Turn Ideas into Real Solutions
29/05/2026
Fundació Farinera Girona partnered with Col·legi Bell-lloc to deliver an intensive entrepreneurship day that brought together Year 9 students from the Gen-E programme and Year 10 students from the Excellence Programme with entrepreneurs and professionals who are currently leading their own startups and businesses.
The objective of the event was clear: to introduce young people to entrepreneurship through hands-on experience. Over the course of six hours, students worked in teams alongside experienced mentors to identify real-world problems and transform them into digital solutions using Lovable and artificial intelligence tools.
Working against the clock, each team developed a functional prototype addressing challenges ranging from tourism in the Girona region to neighbourhood communities and sports enthusiasts. Beyond the final projects, the day showcased what young people can achieve when they are given the right tools, guidance, and the freedom to experiment, learn, and build.
The event concluded with teams presenting their prototypes to their classmates and a panel of judges made up of Joan Taló, Entrepreneurship teacher at Col·legi Bell-lloc, together with Robert Mas and Daniel Ruiz-Giménez, leaders of the entrepreneurship programme at Fundació Farinera Girona.
One of the highlights of the day was welcoming back Kai Brandt and Jaume P., alumni of Col·legi Bell-lloc and founders of Enginy, who returned to share their entrepreneurial journey with the next generation of students. Their experience showed that ideas can become real businesses through initiative, perseverance, and hard work.
Beyond the technology and tools used, the event highlighted the skills that will be essential for students’ futures: creativity, teamwork, adaptability, critical thinking, and the willingness to create a positive impact on society.
At Fundació Farinera Girona, we believe entrepreneurship is about much more than starting a company. It is about learning to identify opportunities, take responsibility, turn ideas into action, and use your talent to improve the world around you.
We would like to thank Col·legi Bell-lloc, the mentors, the participating professionals, and the alumni who made this inspiring and enriching day possible.
