Startup Reset Weekend: Taking Time to Reflect, Share and Move Forward
30/03/2026
Last Friday, we held a new edition of the Startup Reset Weekend at Fundació Farinera Girona, bringing together 45 entrepreneurs from our Entrepreneurship Programme with a clear objective: to take time to reflect, share experiences, and make better decisions for their projects.
Entrepreneurship often requires moving at a fast pace. However, it is equally important to create opportunities to pause, analyze challenges, and learn from others. That is precisely the spirit behind the Startup Reset Weekend.
The event began with the session “Sell or Die”, led by Pere Maymí, who delivered a clear and direct message: without sales, there is no business. It was an essential reminder for any entrepreneur seeking to turn an idea into a sustainable venture.
Participants then took part in the Challenge Room, a collaborative session where entrepreneurs presented real challenges from their projects and received feedback, ideas, and solutions from fellow participants.
During this session, Ester Morales from Casa Far, together with Josep Jordà and Gerard Morales from Aimdal, openly shared some of the challenges they are currently facing in their businesses.
The day concluded with an informal networking session, providing an opportunity for entrepreneurs, mentors, and participants to exchange experiences and continue conversations in a relaxed setting.
We would like to thank all the entrepreneurs who dedicated a Friday afternoon to learning, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another. We also extend our gratitude to mentors Daniel Ruiz-Giménez, Robert Mas, Martí Juanola, and Pere Maymí for contributing their experience and insights throughout the event.
At Fundació Farinera Girona, we believe that entrepreneurship is not built solely through content or methodologies. It also requires a supportive environment, a community willing to help, and spaces where entrepreneurs can grow together.
Because, in the end, this is not only about content. It is about the environment that makes growth possible.
