The Fundació Farinera Girona and MicroBank, the social bank of CaixaBank, have signed a collaboration agreement to launch a €1 million financing line aimed at promoting self-employment and supporting entrepreneurs and microenterprises in the Girona counties.

This initiative aims to facilitate access to credit for entrepreneurial projects, particularly those that often face greater difficulties in obtaining financing through traditional channels. The new financing line will support the creation and consolidation of businesses that contribute to strengthening the local economic fabric.

Through this agreement, the Fundació Farinera Girona reinforces its commitment to supporting entrepreneurs by combining mentorship, strategic guidance, and access to financing, enabling projects to grow with stronger guarantees.

With this joint initiative, both entities aim to promote projects that generate opportunities, employment, and positive impact across the territory, contributing to the progress of the Girona counties.
