Initiatives

The Entrepreneurship Showcase held its 13th edition on 23 October 2025, this year fostered by the Farinera Girona Foundation and previously presented by Giroscopi and Assessoria Codina. Once again, it was consolidated as an event that recognises and fosters entrepreneurial talent in the counties of Girona, and as a key space for giving visibility to innovative projects rooted in the local region. This edition was sponsored by Dibosch, Marlex, Privalex Partners, Kave Home and GironaHub.

The call was addressed to projects that had already started their activity or were in an advanced stage of development and validation, provided that they were no more than five years old and maintained a direct connection with Girona  itself and the local region. Registrations opened on 11 June and closed on 30 September, with the four finalists being announced on 10 Octobe.

From among all the applications received, four projects were selected to present a 10-minute pitch during the event held on 23 October 2025 at Farinera Teixidor:

• Thalio, by Sergi Laurent

• WeTown, by Llorenç Solé

• Greytank, by Vidal Madrià

• Brain, by Paco Hernández

The jury selected Thalio as this edition’s top entrepreneurial project. The winning project received a cash prize of €2,000, while the four finalists received €500 in services from GironaHub and the Espiga Trophy in recognition of their track record, effort and potential.
