Initiatives

Thanks to the support of Fundació ”la Caixa”, throughout 2025 and 2026 Fundació Farinera Girona has supported two entrepreneurial projects with a clear social impact: one focused on health and the other on children’s wellbeing.

This support has been delivered through an intensive programme of in-person mentoring sessions throughout the year, aimed at validating proposals, structuring development models, and defining growth strategies for the projects.

Let it Beat

Let it Beat is a project that develops an adapted physical exercise methodology for people undergoing cancer treatment or recovery. The initiative combines scientific evidence, medical guidance, and a digital monitoring tool to help specialized professionals provide safe and personalized support to patients.

The Foundation has supported the team in validating the concept, defining the methodology, and structuring the project, which is currently being tested in different centres.

Daisy

Daisy is an initiative aimed at improving child psychological care through a methodology that helps professionals interpret children’s drawings in order to better understand their emotions and potential situations of vulnerability.

The project includes both specialized training for professionals and the future development of a digital tool to support this work. The Foundation has supported the project’s founder in validating the concept and defining the different stages of development.
